The Next Chapter

A violin rests in silence. An open songbook waits, while a curious budgie quietly observes the scene.
In The Next Chapter, I chose not to tell the whole story. Instead, I wanted to capture a moment suspended between what has been and what is yet to come. The objects become an invitation rather than an explanation, leaving space for each viewer to discover their own meaning.

Painted in oil with expressive brushwork and rich colour, this work is part of my Brew & Bird series, where birds become quiet storytellers within familiar everyday scenes.
